Georgia Zero Tolerance
You may have heard of "zero tolerance" laws before, but what does that mean?
Like many states, Georgia has adopted Zero Tolerance laws.
As you may have guessed, Zero Tolerance Laws refer to any underage driver found with a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) level over 0.00 will be found guilty of impaired driving and face serious penalties.
While every state may not have Zero Tolerance Laws, every state does impose stricter penalties on underage drivers who have consumed alcohol. As with any alcohol-related vehicle stop, a suspected drunk driver will suffer administrative penalties such as loss of license. And there is no guarantee that a revoked license will be re-instated.
You must contact one of our experienced DUI defense attorneys here at the Law Offices of Webb, Willis, and Kohn if you or someone you know has been charged with a DUI.
