The state of Georgia has only approved three field sobriety tests: the HGN, the Walk and Turn and the One Leg Stand. There are many other tests that police officers use to determine if one has been drinking and driving. These "tests" are non-validated field sobriety tests -and one of them is the Georgia Alphabet Test. Your DUI defense attorney will find out whether you have received such a non-validated test and will fight for your rights.
A court must decide whether or not the test administered to you has any scientific evidence of alcohol consumption above the legal limit. Remember, it is your attorney's job to convince the courts that these non-validated tests are not scientific fact! | Georgia Cities, Counties, and Zip Codes |
